My name is Davis Kane and I am a Junior at Temple University in the Journalism program. I chose Journalism because writing is a strong suite of mine, and I like the freedom that Journalists have within their jobs. I’d like to write for a Magazine that has a specific focus in a topic that I am interested in. I do my best work when I’m interested in the topic that I am writing about.
Hello, my name is Sean Morgan and I am a Sophomore here at Temple University. I am 20 years old and hoping to earn a degree in Journalism with a concentration in sports journalism. I chose to study journalism because I want my career to involve talking and writing about sports. I like all sports, but I am hoping to get a job covering the Phillies when I get out of college. I currently work at both Fresh Grocer and Planet Fitness, and I can’t wait for the Phillies to start back up.
My name is Imani Abdus-Saboor, I’m a sophomore magazine journalism major. After one semester of being an architect major, I decided it absolutely was not for me. I’ve always been a fan of writing and fashion, so magazine fashion writing seemed like something I could be good at. So far, I love it, and have been doing a little bit of photography as well. One day, if I’m fortunate enough I want to write and shoot editorials for one of the big fashion publications such as Vogue or W.
Hey everyone, my name is Annette Rossetti. I am a sophomore journalism major, with a focus in broadcasting. I chose a career in journalism because writing is a passion of mine, and my future goal is to report stories as an anchor for a news station. I also really enjoy history, and keeping up with both past and current events. I want to look back one day, and be able to say that I was at the scene of some of the most important events that occurred throughout my lifetime.
I am a Journalism Major here at Temple University. I live in Abington, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia and I am pretty awesome. I like writing, read, reading while writing, and…stuff. My favorite authors are HP Lovecraft, Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett and while I certainly like Journalism, I would really like to be a fiction author.
My name is Tom Sheehan, I’m a sports journalism major at Temple. I chose to be a journalism major because I enjoy writing about sports. I want a job that I can do for the rest of my life without wanting to kill myself, and I’d be fine with writing a 500 word article everyday for the next 50 years.
My name is Maxwell L. Reil. I am a sophomore journalism major at Temple University. I live on campus by the track field, I enjoy the finer things in life like fine dining, classic movies and music that makes you go “Mmm”. I love to write more than I enjoy talking to people so I knew that this would be the perfect profession for me. I am currently looking for an internship somewhere that focuses on topics I love to write about (arts, music, sports, education, politics, etc). When I graduate, if I am lucky enough to have the money to do so, I would like to travel the world since I never really have had the chance to.
My name is Greg Brandon and I am a junior photojournalism major. I chose journalism as a major because I wanted to have interesting experiences in my career, and I want to use my degree to travel and take photographs.
My name is Jennifer Arcia and I am a transfer student from CCP currently as a Junior status. I am a magazine journalism major and I would like to write for music magazines even though I am still not sure what type of career path I would like to take after graduation. I chose to study journalism because I like to write and it seemed interesting to learn.
My name is Andrew Koob and I am a sophomore journalism student. I have been writing about sports since I was in 10th grade (five years ago?) and have loved it ever since. I plan to continue writing about sports throughout my time at Temple and after graduating. When I find a writing job, I hope to stay local but understand if I have to move to work.
